The New Mastersounds have been delighting audiences with their infectious brand of funky soul-jazz since they formed in Leeds, UK, in 1999. (‘Which state is “UK” shorthand for?’ they were once asked by a serving US president.)

Having aged horribly, these four former teen heart-throbs are now forced to rely solely on their native musical skill and cynical British humor (which they would spell “humour”.)

They have played every Bear Creek since the festival’s inception and since their performances - year after year - keep on failing to disappoint, the organisers are reluctantly obliged to keep on booking them.
